James (dis)Corden(t)

Not much activity today. We had plans of visiting Warner Brothers Studio in the morning however, none of us could open our eyelids until about 10am. We belatedly decided to have a down day.

Grocery shopping in the morning, lunch, then Jason and I went to CBS studios to join another studio audience. This time for the Late Late Show with James Corden. We didn't take the girls as there was a strict 16 year and over policy and we didn't want to leave Sam behind, and Alex wasn't that interested anyway.

After the usual line up, waiting, security and walk to the sound studio. We were "warmed up", and then proceeded to sit through a very average show. Most disappointing was the "star" himself, who not once tried to engage with the audience. The low key "celebrities" were um, boring and were on for maybe a total of 10 minutes. The main attraction was his Car Karaoke with Madonna, which was pre-recorded anyway. Big yawn. Oh well, it was free and we won't die curious. We had a bit of a wander through the festive lights of The Grove, bought a few more groceries at Trader Joe's and went home.

Off to Universal Studios tomorrow which will be vastly more interesting!
