Universal Studios/Warner Brothers Studios

Another HUGE day, having arrived home at 9.30pm for the second night in a row, I'm too tired to write anything much.

We went to Universal studios yesterday, spending at least half the time in the new Harry Potter world. The girls were incredibly excited which was great to see. A real life Hogsmead village! We did an assortment of rides and shows, leaving at closing time at 6pm. Jason then decided it would be a good idea to see La La Land, a new movie set in LA (what a surprise), starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. You should see it, it's quite different.

Slept in the next morning only then to have to rush to catch our Warner Brothers Studio tour. One of the goals for this tour was for me to sit in the Central Perk set from the series "Friends". Which we did. Jason particularly loved the props shed, and the girls had the opportunity to experience more Harry Potter up close and personal.

After Warner Brothers, we went BACK to Universal as Jason managed to get us a 250 day locals pass (oh my), and there were still some rides to go on (apparently). We left once again at closing time and planned to go for a drive to the Griffith Observatory not that far away. Turns out its not just a lookout, but a beautiful Art Deco building full of astronomical (literally) displays and exhibitions, Oh, and a view!
